About
Im tattoos by Brielle! A tattoo artist specializing in fineline hyper-detailing tattoos as well as the science of tattoos, insuring your tattoo ages as well as possible! Please read below for pre and post tattoo care in case you need reminders! Before your session: Make sure to get a good nights sleep and eat a good meal (that has salty and sweet) before your session. If you have any kind of cold/sickness please text me to reschedule, you will not loose your deposit. Make sure in the days leading up you are hydrated! And wear comfortable clothing that gives me access to the area of the tattoo (and if you’re not sure what would be comfy and help me access an area best you can always ask!). Please do not shave the area before coming to see me, irritation bumps can form between when you shaved and when you come see me. If you have any chronic illnesses involving your reproductive system, skin, tissue, or heart, or if you are on steroids, acutaine, or blood thinners, or you have diabetes please let me know. Each of these conditions require different things to insure the best healing and aging tattoo possible. Giving me prior notice will helps me be able to plan your design to exactly what is best for your body, if I don’t know we can always make it work day of, but making a game plan is the best way to get you a beautiful tattoo and a good experience! All of these pre-tattoo instructions are important, and each one of them can affect the outcome of your tattoo. And if you have any additional questions don’t hesitate to reach out! After your session: If you were sent out with sandiderm leave it on for 5 days, the only reasons you should take it off early is if the sandiderm peels off enough to expose the tattoo, or if it irritates your skin. Take it off under warm running water. You can shower with it on, but still keep away from excessive sweating, any submerged water (showers are fine) and the sun. After your sandiderm is off use liquid gold dial soap whenever you’re in the shower. Whenever your tattoo is itching put on a VERY thin layer of Hustle Butter (if you can’t get your hands on hustle butter an unscented lotion will also work) other then that let it dry out. ABSOLUTELY NO AQUAPHOR, A&D, OR ANY PETROLEUM BASED PRODUCTS as they will over moisturize your tattoo and cause the ink to reject. Less is more with moisturizing, your body will tell you if it needs it, and if it does just make sure it’s an extremely small amount, the finer a tattoo is the easier it over moisturizes. Keep your tattoo out of the sun for 3 weeks. After that whenever you have extended amounts of time in the sun make sure to apply SPF to aid in tattoo aging. Treat your tattoo as an open wound until it’s done peeling, no submerged water, no picking, and no sun. Once it’s done peeling external healing is done. But internal healing takes about 8 weeks after the tattoo is completed. Sometimes a tattoo will lighten more then intended after initial peeling but will darken more during internal healing. If you need a touchup: Don’t hesitate to reach out! About 20% of first time clients need a touchup, and about 5% of returning clients need a touchup. Everyone’s skin is different, and I can do the same depth on two different people and one can fade and the other can blow out and turn into a blob. I’d always rather be safe than sorry, go on the lighter side and touch you up if you need it and then we know your skin better for next time! Every client gets 1 free touchup for up to 6 months. You have to have the tattoo for 2 months before asking for a touchup (so internal healing is finished so we can see the final product). And the only times touchups aren’t free are if: There is sun damage It is over moisturized You picked it If it’s visible you didn’t follow any aftercare that’s stated above Please take good care of your tattoo, and don’t forget getting a tattoo (even though it doesn’t always feel this way) is a medical procedure. Pre and post tattoo aftercare makes a world of difference in how a tattoo looks when it’s healed, and how it heals in the coming years. I’m on your side and want your tattoos to look as beautiful as all of you! So if you have any questions or concerns please reach out. And if you don’t hear from me, please feel free to spam me (sometimes messages get lost since there’s so many of you beautiful people, but I always try my best to get back to everyone quickly!)Business Hours
